Day 301 Out of the Rockies and Into Flat Calgary

We checked out of our Banff accommodation this morning, after breakfast served by cheery coffee refill woman.  Dan wanted to drive to see Lake Minnewanka (because it sounds like minnie wanker) and it was worth it for the scenery plus the two goats, three deer, two geese and possibly a tiny chipmunk that we got to see.  It was a pleasant drive.  I sang along to the Best of Tina Turner album I downloaded from iTunes while Dan drove us from Whistler to Vancouver on Tuesday.  Dan gets most annoyed when I make up the words, which is often as I never remember lyrics well.  It was cold and there were intermittent showers of snow.  As beautiful as the landscape is I am starting to miss Australia, singlets, shorts and thongs.
