Today was a long day at work but I got out by 17:30. I raced home, changed, and we caught the subway back downtown, to St Andrew’s Station. We met Ur & Israel for dinner at Pai, a Thai place which was surprisingly good, though still Canadian spicy (mild). We didn’t have time to order dessert, and I was disappointed not to have the chance to indulge in mango with sticky rice. Dan had organised tickets for a few Pride events this week, and tonight we saw Viva Cabaret – Tribute to the Greatest Divas. It was a good show, even though we were squashed into a corner (thankfully Adam & Rob had got there a little earlier than us and secured a table and some chairs). Afterwards Anna, Kevin, Daniel and I ate crepes on Queen St. We then walked Anna home and caught the subway back. The weather is perfect tonight; last night’s continuous downpour gave way to sunshine today. We can hear music pumping from Church St.
